We are always looking for ways to improve our skills, through training in person and online to ensure we’re staying current with new techniques and styles. We maintain and service our equipment regularly to maintain the quality you expect, and your pet deserves.

We offer complete bath, haircut & walk-in grooming services. Walk-in services include nail trim, nail grinding, and other minor services. Grooming services include enzymatic teeth spray, ear cleaning, trimming, dematting & more. Book your pet’s salon appointment today!

Owner and Certified Pet Groomer

I’m Dana, the owner of Furry Friends Grooming since July 2017. I have been grooming dogs and cats since 2012. I have done my best to assemble a team of employees who are as passionate about animals as I am!

When and why did you start grooming? 

I’ve always loved working with animals, and after growing tired of call center jobs, I decided to follow my passion. I began grooming in 2012 after completing grooming school in Loveland, and in 2017, I became the proud owner of Furry Friends.

How many and what kinds of pets do you have?

I have a whole zoo at my house. I have 3 dogs: a pug/chihuahua mix named Libby, a shepherd/lab mix named Hershey, and an American Eskimo named Neem. I have 4 cats: a black cat named Kirby, an orange tabby mix named Sullivan, a Siamese named Nimoy, and a long-haired mix named Sinbad. We also have 2 aquariums with a variety of fish and 2 tarantulas!

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy driving my Mustang, taking care of my pets and plants and spending time with my husband.

What is your favorite breed to see on the schedule and why?

I love all of my clients but if I had to pick a favorite, I would say Golden Retrievers and cats. Goldens have such a goofy personality and are usually eager to please. And cats, because I love cats!

Jen

When and why did you start grooming? 

I started grooming in 2006 because I found that working with animals was my life’s path.

How many and what kinds of pets do you have?

I have a Heeler/Lab mix named Daisy and a Great Pyrenees/Heeler mix named Lilly

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy hiking and camping with my family.

What is your favorite breed to see on the schedule and why?

I love seeing any breed on my schedule, but I have a soft spot for Chihuahuas!

Xin Yu

When and why did you start grooming? 

I started working with pets in 2023 because English is my second language, and I’ve always felt more at ease around animals.

How many and what kinds of pets do you have?

I have a black cat named Mila.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy watching TV and spending time with my friends.

What is your favorite breed to see on the schedule and why?

I enjoy grooming Shih Tzus because they’re tiny, full of charm, and always bring a little sass to the table.

Misty

When and why did you start grooming? 

I’ve been officially grooming for two years

How many and what kinds of pets do you have?

I have two Belgian shepherd mixes that are my entire world and a ginger cat that has me wrapped around his paws

What do you like to do in your free time?

I barrel race in my free time and train for timed events on horseback

What is your favorite breed to see on the schedule and why?                               

My absolute favorite breed to see on the schedule are doodles and schnauzers!

Coleen

When and why did you start grooming? 

My dog had been coming to Furry Friends for many years, and during one of her appointments, I asked if they needed a receptionist. They said yes, and now, over five years later, I’m still here and love every minute of it.

How many and what kinds of pets do you have?

I have a Malshi named Cami.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy cross-stitching and spending time with my daughters and grandchildren!

What is your favorite breed to see on the schedule and why?

I love Yorkies because they come in all shapes and sizes. It just makes them even more charming!

Katy

When and why did you start grooming? 

I started in 2020 because of my love for animals, specifically dogs, and somehow, after all this time, I’ve come to love them even more.

How many and what kinds of pets do you have?

I have a Papillion mix named Dolph, and my roommate has a tabby cat named Clyde.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy spending time outdoors—whether it’s fishing, going to outdoor concerts, or just making memories with my kids.

What is your favorite breed to see on the schedule and why?

I love pitbulls and shepherds, but honestly, it’s all about personality and cuteness, and let’s be real, they all have plenty of both.

When and why did you start grooming? 

I started working with pets in 2025 because I have always enjoyed their company.

How many and what kinds of pets do you have?

I have an Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix named Lakota and an orange tabby named Muffin.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy spending time with my friends and family.

What is your favorite breed to see on the schedule and why?

I love seeing Australian Shepherds on the schedule. They remind me of my dog at home, and I can’t get enough of their big personalities!

Lydia

When and why did you start grooming? 

I have always been an animal lover since I was a little girl! I wanted to learn how to transform dogs and make them look pretty. ♡ Working with and around animals is where I’m meant to be.

How many and what kinds of pets do you have?

I have one dog and one cat, but I would have more if I could! My cat is a white short hair. My dog is an Aussie/Heeler mix. They both are my babies. ♡

What do you like to do in your free time?

I spend time with my fiance mostly. We like to do nature things, and we’re both animal lovers. We’re big foodies, we like to change it up though. Anything to enjoy our time.

What is your favorite breed to see on the schedule and why?                               

I was more interested in personalities when I groomed. I loved grooming all breeds. I just wanted to make them look pretty. 

Gracie

When and why did you start grooming? 

I’ve always loved animals and used to bring my dog to Furry Friends for nail trims. One day, I happened to walk in at just the right time, asked about a job, and got it!

How many and what kinds of pets do you have?

I have a dachshund/beagle mix named Loki, a German Shepherd/ Husky mix named Pirate, a black cat named Salem, and an orange tabby named Chonk.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy painting and spending time with my loved ones.

What is your favorite breed to see on the schedule and why?

I love seeing Newfoundlands on the schedule, as they are super loving but also big, and I enjoy the work that comes with making them beautiful!
