Making dogs & cats look and feel great is our passion! Our trained pet stylists have a combined 32 years of experience. We are always looking for ways to improve our skills, through training in person and online to ensure we’re staying current with new techniques and styles. We maintain and service our equipment regularly to maintain the quality you expect, and your pet deserves.

We offer complete bath, haircut & walk-in grooming services. Walk-in services include nail trim, nail grinding, and other minor services. Grooming services include teeth brushing, ear cleaning, trimming, dematting & more. Book your pet’s salon appointment today!

I’m Dana, the owner of Furry Friends Grooming since July 2017. I have been grooming dogs and cats since 2012. I have done my best to assemble a team of employees who are as passionate about animals as I am!

When and why did you start grooming? 

I’ve always loved working with animals, and after growing tired of call center jobs, I decided to follow my passion. I began grooming in 2012 after completing grooming school in Loveland, and in 2017, I became the proud owner of Furry Friends.

How many and what kinds of pets do you have?

I have a whole zoo at my house. I have 3 dogs: a pug/chihuahua mix named Libby, a shepherd/lab mix named Hershey, and an American Eskimo named Neem. I have 4 cats: a black cat named Kirby, an orange tabby mix named Sullivan, a Siamese named Nimoy, and a long-haired mix named Sinbad. We also have 2 aquariums with a variety of fish and 2 tarantulas!

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy driving my Mustang, taking care of my pets and plants and spending time with my husband.

What is your favorite breed to see on the schedule and why?

I love all of my clients but if I had to pick a favorite, I would say Golden Retrievers and cats. Goldens have such a goofy personality and are usually eager to please. And cats, because I love cats!

Hannah

When and why did you start grooming? 

I’ve been working in the animal industry since 2016, gaining experience in everything from doggie daycares and animal shelters to veterinary medicine and grooming. In 2022, I officially began my grooming career, combining my passion for animal care with digital marketing and website management to showcase the wonderful work that comes from Furry Friends!

How many and what kinds of pets do you have?

I have 2 cats: an orange tabby named Artemis and a Maine Coon mix named Rex.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy exploring new hiking trails with my family and brainstorming digital design ideas for Furry Friends.

What is your favorite breed to see on the schedule and why?

I enjoy grooming Wheaten Terriers, because they can be stubborn and it’s a fun challenge, and Standard Poodles, because I enjoy being creative with their grooms!

Kandee

When and why did you start grooming? 

Growing up with animal-loving parents, I developed a deep love for animals and their companionship early on. My mom worked in the grooming industry, and inspired by her, I began grooming in 2020.

How many and what kinds of pets do you have?

I have a chihuahua named Peanut.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy fishing, boating, and exploring new places with Peanut.

What is your favorite breed to see on the schedule and why?

I enjoy seeing doodles on my schedule because they’re full of personality, and always come in with the cutest curls!

Jen

When and why did you start grooming? 

I started grooming in 2006 because I found that working with animals was my life’s path.

How many and what kinds of pets do you have?

I have a Heeler/Lab mix named Daisy and a Great Pyrenees/Heeler mix named Lilly

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy hiking and camping with my family.

What is your favorite breed to see on the schedule and why?

I love seeing any breed on my schedule, but I have a soft spot for Chihuahuas!

Lavender

When and why did you start grooming? 

I’ve always known I wanted a career working with animals, and I explored several paths within the pet industry before finding my true passion in grooming. I started as a bather in 2023 and quickly transitioned into grooming, and I’ve been in love with it ever since.

How many and what kinds of pets do you have?

I have a Golden Retriever named Tohru, a Ball Python named MaoMao, and a cat named Katsu.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I watch a lot of anime, love horseback riding, and enjoy playing with and training Tohru.

What is your favorite breed to see on the schedule and why?

I love Standard Poodles! I get excited any time I have the chance to groom one. In the future, I hope to specialize in poodles and explore creative grooming styles to truly showcase their unique personalities.

Xin Yu

When and why did you start grooming? 

I started working with pets in 2023 because English is my second language, and I’ve always felt more at ease around animals.

How many and what kinds of pets do you have?

I have a black cat named Mila.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy watching TV and spending time with my friends.

What is your favorite breed to see on the schedule and why?

I enjoy grooming Shih Tzus because they’re tiny, full of charm, and always bring a little sass to the table.
